Tips for webmasters
Practical ways to get more counted views. None of this needs extra tools.
Put the player where people look
- Place the player above the fold, before other players or download links. The first player gets most of the plays.
- Use the embed code at its full width. Small players get fewer plays and shorter watch time.
- Turn on "Up next" in Settings. Viewers who finish a video often start your next one, and that view counts too.
Keep views countable
- A view counts after 30 seconds. Short teasers rarely earn; full videos do.
- If you run pop-unders on your site, fire them on a click on your own links, not on the player and not on an empty page area. Viewers who land in a new tab before the video starts leave.
- Do not buy traffic from bot or exchange networks. Those views are not counted and the account is closed.
Bring search traffic
- Write a unique title and description for every video page on your site. Copied text gets little search traffic.
- Add movies with the IMDb link. Title, year and poster are filled correctly, which helps people find your page.
- Keep your pages fast. Check them with PageSpeed Insights; faster pages rank better and lose fewer visitors.
Protect your site
- If bots hit your pages, put the site behind Cloudflare and turn on its bot protection. Bot views are not counted anyway, but they slow your site.
- If the player domain is blocked in a country, it switches to a backup domain by itself. You can also put your links on your own domain, a VIP option (see Pricing).
- Turn on two-factor authentication. Your payouts go to a crypto wallet, and a stolen password should not be enough to change it.
Grow with others
- Share your referral link with other uploaders. You get 10% of what they earn, and they lose nothing.
- Past 500,000 counted views in 30 days, your rate goes up. See the volume bonus.
Step-by-step guides
Send videos to us from Telegram
- Open @PeeStreamBot on Telegram and press Start, then connect it to your account (the bot gives you a one-time link, or paste your API key from Settings).
- Send or forward any video to the bot. It lands in your account, gets processed, and you get an embed link back — same as a browser or remote-URL upload.
- Telegram upload is free for the first 30 days, then $1 / 30 days (see Pricing).
Publish new videos on your site automatically
Two ways, depending on where the video comes from:
- Followed series and movies (fully automatic): follow an IMDb/TMDb/TheTVDB title from My videos or the API and add a webhook URL. When a new episode or the movie lands on our network, we create your video and POST the new embed link to your webhook — your site can publish it with no manual step. See the webhook guide below.
- Everything you upload, by group webhook (fully automatic): open My videos → a group → Edit, and set a Webhook URL for that group. Every video that becomes ready in the group — whether you sent it to the Telegram bot, uploaded in the browser or added by remote URL — makes us POST its embed link to your webhook, so your site publishes it on its own. Since every upload goes into a group, pick the group (or your default one) and you are done.
- Or pull with the API: every upload also returns a filecode; your embed link is
https://peeplayer.com/e/<filecode>and the share page ishttps://peestream.com/v/<filecode>. Upload withGET /api/upload/urlor/api/upload/imdb(both return the filecode) — see the API.
Webhooks: get new videos onto your site
Two places to set a webhook, both a public https:// URL:
- Per group (My videos → group → Edit → Webhook URL): fires for every video that becomes ready in that group — Telegram bot, browser or remote-URL uploads. JSON:
{"event":"video_ready","file_code","folder","folder_path","embed_url","watch_url","iframe"}. - Per followed title (when you follow a series/movie): fires when a new episode or the movie lands on our network. JSON:
{"event":"movie_ready" / episode fields,"file_code","embed_url","watch_url","iframe",...}. You can also set it withGET /api/series/follow(see the API).
We POST JSON with a short timeout; reply 2xx. Internal, private and loopback addresses are rejected for security — the endpoint must be reachable from the public internet.
Burn your logo and subtitles into the video
- Open Settings → Burn-in and create a profile: upload your logo (PNG/JPG/WEBP), pick a corner and size, and/or choose subtitles to burn in (a file you upload, or pick languages from the video's own tracks) with font, size and position.
- Apply the profile per account or per folder, or burn into existing videos from My videos ("Burn in", one video or in bulk).
- Burn-in re-encodes the picture, so it costs more than a normal upload and takes longer — prices by length and quality are on Pricing. The burned-in logo and subtitles are permanent in the video and show in every player, including casts and downloads.
